Don’t sweat the small stuff.
Focus on the big picture.
Just look at the big stuff.
It’s no big deal.
This world is about the biggest things. This world is quick to miss the small. We’re quick to look past the little in our quest for the big. What a quest we’re on, that quest for the next big thing.
We want big changes, we want big differences, we want big big big — at the risk of overlooking the small. At the risk of totally missing the small, even when small might be important too.
God is different. Nothing is too small for him.
When we’re awake in bed at 2:30 and cringing in anxiety . . . that isn’t small to him.
When that part of our lives is crumbling as we speak . . . that isn’t small to him.
When that tear rolls down our left cheek, that tear we’ve fought all day . . . that isn’t small to him.
Nothing is too small for him. We’re not too small for him. We more than measure up: we’re loved more than we know, small as we may be.
