announcing the create.compose.communicate e-newsletter

(Wednesdays are typically Wedded Wednesdays around here. But this announcement? Well worth the little commercial break. Back to your regularly scheduled programming next week. Promise 🙂

Friends, big news here. And this time, it’s not about moving. It’s about writing.

Melissa and I connected through the wonderful world of blogging. (We both have “inspiration” in our blog titles, so we were bound to become friends sooner or later, right?)

Our stories are similar in so many ways. Melissa grew up in Kansas City and now lives in Chicago. I was born in Chicago and will soon live in KC. We’re both passionate about our alma maters — Notre Dame for Melissa and the University of Missouri for me.

Melissa and I even got to meet a few weeks ago! (In college colors, obviously.)

And another (big) similarity: our careers. Like me, Melissa is a freelance writer. Her business is Melrose Street Custom Content. Melrose Street and Inspiration-Driven Communication have similar missions, similar target audiences and similar goals . . . it only seemed fit that we collaborate.

And so collaborate we did! Welcome to the Create.Compose.Communicate newsletter.

Create.Compose.Communicate provides inspiration and instruction for writers of all kinds.

Our intention for this weekly newsletter is to provide actionable information about writing in an approachable way. Writing is an important part of life, whether it’s for work, school, or personal projects. But writing doesn’t have to be scary or intimidating.

Melissa and I believe that with a little knowledge and a lot of practice, anyone can become a better writer.

Whether you’re a novice or a fellow pro, we’d love to have you. If you want to take your writing skills to a new level, this newsletter is for you.

Since we think two heads are often better than one, we are excited to join forces to share our collaborative expertise and mutual love of writing. By serving up a weekly dose of tips and ideas (plus a monthly roundup of recent news and trends), we hope to inspire you to become the best writer you can be.

The first e-newsletter arrives in inboxes Thursday, September 20. Thanks for joining us on this journey!

Get signed up right here.

(And if you ever have a writing-related question that you’d like us to address, shoot us a note at create.compose.communicate [at] gmail [dot] com — we’d love to help!)
