inspiration-driven links, week of 7.8.12

{Inspiration-Driven Links is my weekly roundup of the web.}

Good morning, friends. This week has been one of ups and downs for certain. And that’s the human experience, is it not? One highlight = I ate ice cream twice yesterday, which means it was a wonderful day.

Some of my favorite finds this week —

Craig Gross, founder of, writes boldly and with grace in his piece on, “Will There Be Gays in Heaven?” Remarkable, and yes yes yes.

“Eating Chicken and Solving Problems,” from Dinner A Love Story. On why cooking is just good for you, and good for our culture as well.

Encouragement from Danielle LaPorte: “Are you hanging by a thread?” My favorite line? “It may be hard to believe right now, but not only will it be okay, not only will you get through and over this, you will thrive again. You will be clear and vibrant and INCREDIBLE.”

One of my dear blogging friends, Kristina, re-launched her blog (Redefining Awesome) this week and it is remarkable. Her wit and sass and wisdom continue to bless me.

How about you? Please, share the best things you’ve read this week!
