Some days are wind-in-your-hair, sun-on-your-shoulders days. The air tastes crisp and all is well. Friendships are many and strong. Family is joyful and embraces are snug. Passion is high for both work and play. Grace flows clearly blessings are unmistakable. Smiles are sweet and even if the road is rocky, it’s all an ice cream sundae.

And other days, friends, are simply dark. The sky is cloudy and you know it and feel it deep within your bones. Your core is uneasy. Tears flood eyes with no warning. To wake up and sit up and get up is a challenge altogether too big to face. Friends and family are few and far between and love sits beyond your grasp. If you could only catch a break. And you know there must be something bigger out there, but where is He and gosh if only you could know Him . . .

We have all lived both, have we not?

In it all, in this journey, much becomes clarified. Both our light and dark days reveal much. For me, what has become clear is people. I treasure community more and more with each passing day and life, to me, feels like faith and friends and doing passionate work and celebrating the big and small with those around me. Each day is grace. That’s what it means to me to live an inspiration-driven life.

Today, I’m humbled to write post #100.

It is a privilege to write inspiration-driven life, friends. I’m blessed that you read and blessed by every comment and tweet and oh-so-encouraging note. When I started this blog, I felt on the fringes of being a writer. I felt on the fringes of living this journey well and doing justice to the sweet grace we’re given. And here, today, now, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. God uses this blog and YOU in my life every day. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

To show you how awesome I think you are, friends, I’m holding my first-ever giveaway! To me, part of living an inspiration-driven life is making an effort to really connect with those we love. In that spirit, I’m excited to share quite the collection of stationery, plus a $10 Starbucks gift card so you can sip some coffee as you pen the love notes.

What kind of stationery? All cards, all from different sources! I’ll reveal a few pieces each day this week — after the regularly scheduled blog posting, of course. Each piece of stationery carries meaning or has a fun story behind it, so be sure to visit every day!

a sneak peak, if you're curious!

the oh-so-fine print:

  1. Congrats on 100 posts! So glad to walk with you and be in community with you on this journey through your blog…not even kidding when I say it’s one of my favorite reads! 🙂

I’ve never really thought about it in those terms, but I suppose to me, living an inspiration-driven life means living abundantly in the way that can only be accomplished through abiding in the Lord…both honestly and joyfully, even through the dark days.

  2. Congratulations on 100 blog posts. I know how wonderful that achievement is.

To me, living an inspiration-driven life means living by the moment, with God by my side and not looking too far ahead but appreciating what’s in front of me. That’s not to say that I always do that because I don’t, but I know that I’ll get there.

  3. Love your tweets & posts! Congrats on the 10th!
To me an inspiration driven life means finding new ways to serve others, build people up & pour out the love of Christ to loved ones & strangers alike.

  4. Yay! Congrats on 100 posts! 🙂

To me, living an Inspiration-Driven life means looking at each day as what is- a gift. It means fixing our eyes on Jesus, and recognizing His hand in each day. It’s breathing in the inspiration of Him and of His handiwork! 🙂

  5. Congratulations on your 100th blog post! To me, living an inspiration driven life has evolved since giving up my career to have children – nurturing and “being there” for them as they’ve grown up, watching them grow into kind, responsible and intelligent adults that I hope will make a difference in the world.

  7. You INSPIRE ME, Sarah. Congrats on 100 posts!

When I drive, I have a destination in mind, and the fuel to get there. Having an inspiration-driven life means I am not wandering aimlessly. I have purpose and power. I can wield it to accomplish something with my life. All by the grace and for the glory of God.

  8. You do INSPIRE ME, Sarah! So proud of you for leading this inspiration-driven life for us to share in!

I always think of “Keep your eyes on the prize” when I hear inspiration driven life. For one needs focus to accomplish the task at hand. when you consider the prize to be Jesus, I don’t think that’s a bad motto to follow!

Congrats on post 100 and beyond! (mine will be tomorrow, but clearly had my eyes elsewhere as I didn’t plan anything special!!! aack!) ; )

    All for Him,

  10. INSPIRE ME! I’ve been thinking and thinking about what an inspiration-driven life means to me and for me I feel like it is very broad. I find inspiration in so many different places and people (present blog company included) and I guess the goal for me is to really take the things that inspire me and let them work into my life, sink into my being and to live it out!
